Facts About Young People In Today's Culture ![]() Our psychologists are now saying, "it's as if there is some supernatural force driving them over the edge." To those who don't know, it's the spirit of SATAN! Things aren't normal anymore. The school is not normal anymore. When we reject God, we invite destruction! When God was kicked out, the devil has had a field day. When we replace the 10 Commandments with condoms, Prayer with pleasure and perverseness, and The Bible with Baal, what else can we expect? Did you know, that nearly 1,000 school teachers go to the hospital everyday from being assaulted by their students? Did you know, that nearly 8,000 teenagers per day loose their virginity? Did you know, that 8,000 teenagers per day get a sexually transmitted disease? Did you know, that 50% of High School girls say there is nothing wrong with having sex before marriage? A school system without God has brought this on. Did you know, that 1 full classroom of teenagers are murdered every 4 days? Did you know, that murder is the 2nd leading cause of death among teenagers, between 10-19 years of age? Suicide took the lives of 29,350 Americans in the year 2000. Did you know, that 15% of those lives were young people age 25 and under? Did you know, that 1 out of 10 boys, and 1 out of 5 girls have thought about suicide or have attempted it by the age of 15? Did you know, that over 1,000 teenagers attempt suicide everyday? Overall, suicide is the 11th leading cause of death for all Americans, and the 3rd leading cause of death for young people ages 15-24. In 1999, more teenagers and young adults died from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, strokes and chronic lung disease COMBINED. Spike in suicide rates between- 2003-2004: •For 10- to-14-year-old females, the rate increased from 0.54 per 100,000 in 2003 to 0.95 per 100,000 in 2004 •For 15-to-19 year-old females the rate increased from 2.66 to 3.52 per 100,000 •For 15-to-19 year-old males, the rate increased from 11.61 to 12.65 per 100,000 Hanging/suffocation was the most common method among girls. Firearms was the most common method among boys. Did you know, that 70% of 8th Graders smoke? Did you know, that 50% of 8th Graders drink alcohol? If they are blessed enough to make it out of Middle School and High School, many parents think they are out of danger, but........ Did you know, that nearly 95% of college students admit to drinking alcohol? Do you see that things are diffrent now? Do you see SATAN at work? In a gallop poll, 48,000 teenagers were asked this same question, " What influences teenagers most?" Here are their answers: 1) 87% said their freinds. 2) 51% said their home life. 3) 45% said their school. 4) 41% said their music. 5) 32% said their T.V. 6) 13% said their religion. You see the thing that was first should have been last, and the thing that was last should have been first. Peer pressure is a terrible thing, and it results in terrible consequences.
