Homosexuality: An abomination!

Leviticus 18:22 - "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." The Hebrew word for "abomination" is "tow'ebah" which means "a disgusting thing." The New Testament Greek word means "To stink" or "to be disgusted."
Homosexuality was known and practiced in the ancient Near East from very early times. It was condemned as an abomination and the punishment was death. The term "dog" was applied in Deu. 23:18 and refers to male cultic prostitutes or homosexuality in general.
Homosexuality is a medical term, but the Bible calls those who practice it "Sodomites." The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When people continue in sin and unbelief, God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that people become homosexuals because of sin (Romans 1:24-27) and ultimately because of their own choice.
I believe that Homosexuality is just as much SIN, as it was in the days of the book of Genesis. No matter how much President Obama has endorsed it, or our society has accepted it... IT IS STILL AN ABOMINATION IN THE SIGHT OF GOD!
